Launch of Glomex mobility platform


We are happy to announce the launch of Glomex, the very first platform for Corporate Mobility Executives in the Netherlands, bringing together Executives from a broad variety of companies contributing to and/or managing Corporate Mobility.  

Why this initiative?
The idea to create a common mobility platform, covering multiple industries, was born by listening to members in the (International) Corporate Travel Management community. As the majority of network events and congresses focus on their own industry, there is hardly any initiative to bridge between e.g. fleet- and travel management. These industry professionals expressed their interest to meet both for educational purposes as well as networking events, and exchange best practices with peers and suppliers in a broader mobility management perspective than through the traditional corporate travel path.

That made us, Herman Huijer, Carla van den Berg en Huub Smeets, putting our heads together and seriously look into the possibility of realizing a mobility platform. Resulting today in the launch of Glomex. Initially the focus is on the Netherlands, but Glomex is looking into expansion through partnerships across the globe.

Invitation to the first Glomex event
We would like to invite you to be our guest at the launching event, that will be held on October 30, 2014 from 17.00-20.00hrs in a fantastic venue, with courtesy of the DoubleTree by Hilton, Amsterdam Centraal Station. The keynote speakers will be the Schiphol Group and BMW Group AG, who will share their views on mobility and insides on relevant mobility topics they are working on. 

We emphazise that we welcome participants from all sectors interested in, or contributing to the management of Corporate mobility in the broadest sense. In addition to airline, hospitality and travel trade, this could be - among others - members from the automotive, finance or facility management industry.
