A great start of 2015

More than 100 industry peers attended the Glomex New Year event last night, Thursday Jan22nd 2015, hosted by the Dorint Amsterdam Airport-Hotel in Badhoevedorp. A full house!!
Truly a great start of 2015!
We are very pleased that so many responded to our invitation. And we are thrilled to see that within only a few months, our initiative is really starting to lift off, bringing people and companies together from a beautiful mix of disciplines.
We thank René Klawer (Chairman VNO-NCW West) and Daan Bieleveld (Global Mobility Manager DSM) for their interesting presentations and Stefan Berstein plus entire crew of the Dorint Hotel for their superb hospitality! And ofcourse we thank all of you present for your active participation!
For everybody who was not there.....you did miss out something.
The start of a new year is also the time to announce good intentions.
Our intention for 2015 is to continue to offer our members high quality sessions, with emphasys on knowledge sharing and networking.
In order to do so, we do need you to become a member as well. We certainly will do everything to make it worthwhile for you. Therefore we value your comments and input in order for Glomex to further develop to a network platform that is meeting your expectations.
April event - different set-up
To prove that we live up to this intention, the next event in April will have a different set-up from the previous events.
Following the suggestions we received from several attendees, there will be an introduction from a Corporate Travel Manager about burning issues and learnings, after which we will break up into smaller groups with a mix of participants to discuss several theses. Summaries will be shared.
The goal is to intensify knowledge sharing among members and to stimulate the cross-over learnings.

An invitation will be send out shortly, inviting you also to bring in topics for the discussions you would be interested in.
Events always free for members
Apart from the other member benefits, our events will be free for members. The special introduction fee still applies till the end of this month! Non-members and invitees are welcome subject to space availability, but an entrance fee will be charged.
Lets make it a wonderful 2015 with a lot of knowledge sharing!
For now we wish you a very nice weekend and we hope to see you all again in April or to one of the other events this year.

P.s. Communication language on events is English or a mix of English and Dutch if there are non-Dutch speaking participants present.
For practical reasons, our website and newsletters will be in English.
