Interesting developments highlighted at Glomex New Year Event A lot is happening in the Corporate Travel & Mobility world, especially due to disruption of various players in the market and new government regulations with regards to leasing. In this changed environment the employee has become an important influencer on how he/she uses a mobility budget, regardless the transport type and how this is being booked. Therefore the question “what’s new, what stays” in Corporate Mobility & Travel is quite relevant. Both keynote speakers: Liam Donnelly of Arval and Sasja Winters of ING, highlighted the effects of disruption and the need for new business models and services. The presentation of ING was also the premiere of the newest ING Sector report. More details below. Honorary Partner Herman Herman Huijer, who is the founding father of Glomex, is named Honorary Partner of Glomex! Unfortunately his health forced him to take a step back. 	Keynote Liam Donnelly - Arval Arval is one of the top vehicle leasing companies in the Netherlands, as well as abroad. Therefor we are happy that Liam Donnelly, Managing Director Arval Nederland, accepted our invitation to present at the New Year Event on January 19 2016. 	Keynote Sasja Winters- ING There is also quite some disruption in corporate travel. How this is affecting the business travel chain is the central question in the recent research of ING. We are very pleased that we had the premiere of the ING's newest Business Travel sector report, presented by Sasja Winters, Senior Sectormanager Business Services & Travel of ING. 	Herman Huijer - Honorary Partner We had one other important announcement to make. Herman Huijer is the initiator and one of the managing partners of Glomex. Some of you have noticed that Herman was not that prominently present during the last couple of sessions.Unfortunately his health forced him to take a step back and this will also continue in the time to come. We obviously would like to thank Herman for being a Founding Father of Glomex and also like to thank him for an excellent cooperation! We like to honor him by naming him Honorary Partner of Glomex!



	Save the date - Next event March 17 2016 The Glomex Spring event will be held on March 17, at the Courtyard by Marriot Hotel in Hoofddorp. The topic will be ‘Risk Management and safety in corporate mobiliy’, something that unfortunately is quite top of mind given the disturbing situations in the world.
